After 14 months, my time at Raven Software has come to an end.
It was a great time of artistic growth and friendships. I wish Raven all the best and look forward to seeing great things from them in the future.
This puts my current FX tests on hold while I explore my options. Like playing tennis. Or packing.
Thanks, y'all. I'll be back.

Weekend Render
To my surprise, the fire came out pretty uniform. Well, too uniform for my taste. It's a good start for me though. I'll be refining this through the week. Maybe sooner. Once it gets done, I'll turn it into a flipbook and see how it looks in Unreal or Source.

More on the way
The wonders of technology has allowed me to put one of my recent FumeFX tests by way of Flickr. It seems that Vimeo cannot, or will not, support oddly sized videos.
Thanks, Flickr!

New site, new reel...and old
So this is the first post and all. Blah, blah, blah - I'll be using this as a place to post all my heart's desires, like how I really want to make a sexy, but modest looking explosion fluid sim.
Ohhh, yeah. I just winked at you. More on the sims later though.
Working in the video game industry, I want to improve my craft and all that comes with it be it animation and timing amongst effects or just creating texture flipbooks with Maya. Or Max, if you're that guy.
Film visual effects are cool and all, but video games effects provides that challenge I need and enjoy.
So, I'm currently work at Raven Software and recently finished the PC/360/PS3 game, Singularity. Post-Singularity, I have been working on VFX, but have been sworn secrecy for fear that I would end up in a South American prison.
Below is the most recent visual effects reel of what I worked on. Further below is my reel from inFamous, developed by Sucker Punch Productions.
